The very last update of GPI (Global Poker Index) saw a huge alteration thanks to the poker players results at different events of WSOP (World Series of Poker). As far as the top ten members are concerned, Jason Mercier is at the first position, whereas Bertrand Grospellier is at the second position.
Michael Mizrachi, with his win at the $ 50,000 buy-in Poker Players Championship, also filed a huge increase. He become victorious in 26 seats and received in the tenth spot in the rankings. Chris Klodnicki won fifteen seats and got the same feat. Still, he needs four spots before he could get to the top ten. Among other poker players – Fernando Brito won 112 seats, Chris McClung 63, Dwyte Pilgrim 67, Matt Giannetti 120 and Jonathan Little 52.
When some poker pros managed to receive a better spot in the Global Poker Index ranking, others regressed. Ben Lamb lost 155 seats, Barry Greenstein lost 89 seats, Scott Seiver lost 75 seats and Antony Lellouche lost 43 seats.
There are several poker players who left the GPI, such as – Simon Charette, Mike Beasley, Nikolai Yakovenko, Brian Rast, Alessio Isaia, Mike Binger and Andrew Robl. The game goes on at Rio and several other major championships also took place in various places like World Poker Tour National Series Madrid. The next ranking list is sure to come up with other surprises.
